It is with much sadness that we advise that Kate passed away suddenly on Thursday 3rd June 2021 after living with metastatic breast cancer for the past 4 years.

She had just commenced another round of chemo on Tuesday (1st June) for the cancer in her liver, but she collapsed on Wednesday at home and was rushed to Royal Melbourne Hospital where she showed a too brief improvement in her condition.

We would like to thank her Oncologists and Breast Cancer Nurse at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute, along with the numerous others associated with her treatment and welfare. They are a great group of people and we have nothing but praise for them.

Thank you for your condolence messages and cards. We have been truly humbled by the messages we have received from her friends and acquaintances, and the stories of the positive impact that she had on so many people.

Kate would absolutely love it if anyone wanting to make a donation in her memory would give to the Love Your Sister charity.
